Bright One Feedback
Welcome to the Bright One feedback forum!
- What do you think of Bright One and the work it does?
- How can we better help the charities, not-for-profits and social enterprises with their communications?
- How can we improve upon the experience that volunteers have with Bright One?
Thanks in advance for your feedback. We’ll be looking carefully into everything you suggest.
Thanks,
The Bright One team

Get PROs from bigger orgs to volunteer for smaller ones
Communications professionals from bigger not-for-profit organisations will be working in bigger teams, have better training and have access to better resources. These professionals should volunteer for Bright One and work with organisations that are have similar aims as their own for the benefit of both charities. E.g. NSPCC working with a smaller charity that also helps to protect children from abuse.

Setup a forum
Set up a member's forum, where not-for-profits can ask professionals questions and get answers on their communications problems.
Students would also be able to ask professionals questions about PR and Communications, whether it is about their career or information for their studies.

Provide a resources section on the website
Create a repository of knowledge on communications for not-for-profits, so that any users can come to the site and get some help without actively getting volunteers involved.
These resources could include guides to PR and Communications, press release templates, social media and networks explanations, step-by-step guides, etc.
The resources could be written by the student volunteers so that they can practise their skills and demonstrate their learning, but being checked over by the professional volunteers to ensure a professional standard.

Add Case Studies
I want to see how other not-for-profits and volunteers have found their experience of Bright One. This will give me more confidence in either using Bright One for our organisation or to volunteer myself for Bright One.
